US Edition | Issue | Publication US January 2025 Stories published in January 2025

gasworld US Edition, Vol 63, No 01 (January) - New trends mock up

Happy new year, and welcome to our first issue of 2025, looking at new trends in industrial gases.

There is so much going on in industrial gases right now, as well as a fair amount of uncertainty in some key markets. For this issue, rather than narrowly focus on classic innovation stories, in the sense of new technologies and new markets, we’ve taken a step back and tried to take in a broader picture. What is coming down the line in certain markets? How is the energy transition, and the public policy that drives it, playing out? What are the prospects from here in industries like the supply of merchant carbon dioxide, say, where some supply will soon start to be sequestered rather than utilized – driving a need for fresh supply from new sources?
