Messer has been announced as a winner of the Axia Best Managed Companies Award 2020.

In accordance with the agreement announced on 28th January (2020), Air Liquide has today announced it has closed the sale of its entities in Czech Republic and Slovakia to Messer.

In recent update, Messer Americas has said it is continuing to take proactive steps to enable a safe and reliable supply of its gases to industries deemed essential during the coronavirus outbreak.

Messer Group is urging customers to return any empty medical oxygen cylinders and to not stock up on medical oxygen during the coronavirus outbreak.

Messer has confirmed the security of its supply to existing customers it not currently at risk amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

Pressure regulators and equipment manufacturer Spectron, part of the Messer Group, is adapting its production to manufacture priority medical equipment for oxygen supply.

Messer Americas is celebrating its first “Messerversary”.

Messer is in exclusive negotiations with rival, major industrial gas company Air Liquide to purchase the latter’s entities in Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Throughout December, employees at Messer Americas have taken part in various volunteer activities, to contribute to the communities in which the company operates.

Messer today said it will construct a new gas production plant in Hungary as it continues to expand its operations in the country.
