Rocky Mountain oil and gas company Zephyr Energy has been given the green light to begin drilling at its proposed Salt Wash Field helium project in Utah.
The company today (31st July) said it had been granted approval, with Utah’s Department of Natural Resources having approved its drilling permit application.
In March 2024, the company said it was weighing up funding proposals for the project and hoped to start drilling mid-April, meaning the project is behind schedule.
