News has emerged from Oslo, Norway, where Yves Bonte has been appointed the new Head of Yara’s Industrial segment with effect as of 1st January 2010.
Bonte, a Belgian national, is currently employed in The Netherlands by the Lyondellbasell group as Divisional Senior Vice President for its Polypropylene business.
He has extensive international experience in the chemical industry, running manufacturing operations, supply chain activities and commercial entities where innovation and added value services were key success factors.
Yara’s Industrial segment creates value by developing and selling chemical products and industrial gases to non-fertilizer market segments. The Industrial division offers nitrogen chemicals as well as industrial explosives, with environmental applications like NOx- abatement growing strongly.
