As coronavirus (Covid-19) infections continue to rise in the US, Wyoming county has said its usual supply of oxygen concentrators is limited and running low.
Sweetwater County Public Health on Thursday (23rd Sep) published its concerns, stating that whilst orders of concentrators have been placed, they will not bring supplies to normal levels.
The county’s first order was due to arrive on Thursday, with a second expected early next week.
“Public Health has reached out to the state to secure supplied if needed, but oxygen concentrators are a scare resource nationwide due to the increase numbers of positive Covid-19 patients and their need of oxygen treatment,” Sweetwater County Public Health said in a statement.
