The Ohio based supplier of pressure cylinders announced an eight percent price increase on all refillable and non-refillable refrigerant cylinders produced at Worthington’s North American and European manufacturing plants.
Dusty McClintock, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Worthington Cylinders, attributed the rise to an increase in raw material prices. He commented, “Every effort has been made to minimise the impact of rising material costs. However, recent raw material pricing has significantly escalated our production costs and we must adjust pricing accordingly.”
The price increase will affect all refrigerant cylinders shipped on or after 15th May 2010, or as contracts allow.
