Nordic greentech company Biokraft has announced that its newly built liquefaction plant in Södertörn, Sweden, has delivered its first batch of Bio-liquefied natural gas (Bio-LNG).
Consisting of 34 tonnes of Bio-LNG, the shipment will be used to fuel trucks and decarbonise long-haul transport in northern Europe.
According to Biokraft, a container holds 17 tonnes of Bio-LNG – enough to fuel a fully loaded long-haul truck for around 50,000km.
