Hydrogen (H2) fuelled vehicle advocate, ULEMCo Ltd, has delivered the world’s first H2 dual-fuel bin lorries to Fife Council in Scotland.
The vehicles have been adapted to run on dual H2 and diesel fuels and have been implemented to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality in the local community.
The Liverpool-based business is the owner of the dual fuel technology. After initially carrying out the conversion on two Heil Farid bin lorries, the project will convert a total of 15 vans to hybrid electric and H2 fuel cell operation.
