The World Biogas Association (WBA) has entered into a partnership with the Global Methane Hub to develop two key initiatives that aim to drive the growth of technologies such as anaerobic digestion (AD) and biogas.
Launched at COP22 in 2016, the WBA is the global trade association for the biogas, landfill gas and AD sectors, dedicated to facilitating the global adoption of biogas.
This was followed by the release of the Global Methane Pledge (GMP) at COP26, which commits the more than 150 country signatories to the pledge to reduce methane emissions by 30% against 2020 levels by 2030.
