Oy Woikoski Ab, the oldest industrial and medical gas supplier in Finland, has bagged first prize at the Plootu Fennica competition for the design of its hydrogen (H2) filling station.
Designed in conjunction with RD Velho, a Finnish product development and design service company, the station came first in the design category after being judged on its usability and design aspects, as well as for how creatively and sensitively it is manufactured.
It is understood that industrial gas company Woikoski utilises and supply’s these filling stations with H2 throughout the Scandinavian country.
The compact H2 station is primarily a shipping container, which incorporates all the necessary technology and modern filling station. Only the fuelling nozzles and payment terminal remain outside of its protective structure.
