The World Health Organisation (WHO) has delivered 500 of its promised 3,000 oxygen cylinders to the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) to support the strengthening of the country’s health facilities during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Acquired at a total cost of $1.1m, the 3,000 cylinders will also provide support for non-Covid related conditions that require oxygen supplementation.
