VRV SpA has announced that it has successfully delivered two super-large cryogenic LNG storage tanks for the expansion of Barents NaturGass’ (BNG) LNG bunkering facilities at Polarbase near Hammerfest in the Arctic Circle, where BNG supplies LNG to industry and ships from their modern and efficient bunkering facility.
Thomas Øien, Engineering manager of BNG commented, “This will be our largest bunkering facility, 1250 m3 storage with maximum 90 ton/hour transfer rate and 24/7 availability. VRV have delivered as promised with challenging deadlines, and have stood by our side throughout this process.”
