Venture Global LNG has announced plans to increase production of its US-based liquified natural gas (LNG) sites to more than 100 million tonnes of nameplate liquified export capacity per annum.
The US LNG specialist plans to expand LNG production both in and outside of Louisiana, building on the momentum of its first three projects – Calcasieu Pass, Plaquemines LNG and CP2 LNG.
Supporting its plans is energy technology firm Baker Hughes. The two companies have executed an expanded master equipment supply agreement for the delivery of additional liquefaction train systems and power island systems to support the expanded capacity.
