Venture Global LNG has signed a 20-year LNG sale and purchase agreement with Excelerate Energy.
Under terms of the deal, Excelerate Energy will be supplied with 0.7 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of LNG on a free on-board basis from its Plaquemines LNG facility in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana.
Both parties are US-based LNG companies.
Steven Kobos, President and CEO of Excelerate, said the agreement is an important milestone for the company’s growth strategy, offering more flexible and cost-effective products.
