A ‘short spike’ in pricing and tight availability is anticipated, though major supply disruption is not currently expected.
Tightening supply is thought to be due to maintenance shutdowns. gasworld has been able to verify this, and understands the situation should be resolved in the days ahead.
The news follows a period of relative calm in the UK CO2 market, after high-profile shortages in September 2021 and through parts of 2022.
