Total Helium has connected nine wells at its flagship Pinta South Project to a six-mile pipeline that will transport gas to Ranger Development’s third-party processing facility before sale to a large industrial gas company.
The helium exploration and production company confirmed the progress in a recent update which also confirmed that an additional 10 wells are in various stages of completion and pipeline connection.
Initially, the off-take agreement with the undisclosed customer will cover the first 10 wells. After the agreement is fulfilled, production will be sold on the spot market.
Two of the nine connected wells have consistently produced 232 thousand cubic feet per day (Mcf/d) with high helium concentrations between 7.58% and 7.83%. During the initial testing phase of three additional well, total production rose to 450 Mcf/d.
