Airgas has acquired the assets and operations of Valley Air Supply, Inc. Headquartered in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Valley Air Supply is an industrial gas and welding supply distributor that generated more than $10m in sales in calendar year 2014.
Valley Air Supply’s four locations in Muscle Shoals, Decatur, and Jasper, in Alabama; and Jackson, Tennessee, and more than 30 associates joined Airgas effective late April 2015.
“The acquisition of Valley Air Supply’s associates and locations into Airgas via our South Region will help to strengthen our position in this important area of the country,” said Kevin McBride, Airgas President – South Region. “We look forward to continuing to offer the excellent service that Valley Air Supply’s customers have come to expect and are proud to welcome Valley Air Supply’s associates into the Airgas family.”
