AGL Welding Supply has announced it is currently experiencing a transition as the third generation of the same family has been announced as the new President of the company.
Patrick M. Fenelon has stepped down from the role of President of AGL Welding Supply. Current vice president, Christopher Fenelon, will transition to President while current vice president and general manager, Kevin Brancato, will transition to chief operating officer.
Thomas Fenelon has been named vice president of operations for all AGL facilities. Patrick Fenelon will ascend to Chairman of the Board of the AGL family of companies. Patrick Fenelon has served as president of AGL Welding Supply since 1986.
As part of his new role, Christopher Fenelon, grandson of the original owner, will assume responsibility for corporate administration, human resources, information technology, finance, transportation, and some aspects of operations. Kevin Brancato, in his role as chief operating officer, will lead the company’s customer-facing divisions, while also assuming responsibility for purchasing, marketing, credit and collections, and some aspects of operations. As vice president of operations, Thomas Fenelon will continue to lead the company’s operations, maintenance, and cylinder retest divisions.
