The British Compressed Gases Association (BCGA) welcomes recent advancements in the take-up of hydrogen (H2) infrastructure following recent government funding and the inclusion of H2 in the Blue Book.
Despite the success of H2 Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs) around the world, a lack of refuelling opportunities nationally has hampered their introduction in the UK.
Doug Thornton, CEO of the BCGA, explains, “uptake of H2 fuelled cars has made faster progress across other parts of the world, including mainland Europe, America and Japan.
