Texas Trailer Corporation (TTC), a division of Weldship Corporation, has completed a major expansion to its Gainesville, Texas, operation.
The $1.5m investment began in 2016 and set out to add space to improve overall production capabilities. In order to achieve its ultimate goal, TTC purchased 15.2 acres of surrounding land to bolster its already extensive footprint. A new 5000ft2 office building was constructed to provide additional space for TTC’s expanded management team including personnel from the sales, operations, engineering, safety and quality departments.
It also installed a new state of the art shot blast and paint booth building to increase production standards and output. The 4,125ft2 addition allows TTC to further improve their manufacturing capabilities as well as their tube trailer retest and rehab capabilities giving customers a faster turnaround time for equipment needing refurbishment.
