Linde North America and Roy Smith Company are celebrating the tenth anniversary of their strategic alliance to supply industrial gases, welding gases, and equipment to customer throughout the U.S.
The alliance was formed in 2002 in response to major manufacturers’ desire to streamline the number of vendors servicing their business.
Linde North America is a member of The Linde Group, a world-leading gases and engineering company. And Roy Smith Company, located in Detroit, Michigan, was established in 1924 and is a leading supplier of turnkey bulk industrial gas systems, a broad range of cylinder gases, welding equipment and supplies, as well as safety and industrial products.
The company is the recipient of the 2003 and 2004 Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council’s Supplier of the Year award.
Pat Murphy, president of Linde North America, said, “Our relationship with Roy Smith Company, has been a very successful venture. Through the alliance, Linde’s network of supply locations throughout the U.S. assists Roy Smith Company to extend its reach to its customers in various parts of the country.”
