TechnipFMC has received a notice to proceed its engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) construct for the Energía Costa Azul (ECA) LNG facility in Baja California, Mexico.
The announcement follows news of a final investment decision for the development, construction and operation of phase one of the project.

According to a statement, the project will add a natural gas liquefaction facility with nameplate capacity of 3.25 Mtpa to the existing regasification terminal using a compact and high efficiency mid-scale LNG design.
