Danish technology manufacturer Svanehøj is revamping its safety instrumentation at Konkan liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in India and Fos Cavaou LNG terminal in France.
Having partnered with its French counterpart Svanehøj France, the company has taken on the task of upgrading safety systems for three LNG tanks.
Having already retrofitted one tank with a new densitometer at Fos Cavaou, Svanehøj aims to replace various components for at Konkan LNG as part of Konkan’s ‘comprehensive’ plan to upgrade one-third of its tanks.
Commenting on the work undertaken at Fos Cavaou, Simon Dufour, Sales Manager at Svanehøj France, revealed that the company learned that some terminals needed work after reconnecting with LNG terminals worldwide.
