Glass manufacturer Steklarna Hrastnik has invested in a new oxygen furnace for the production of glass packaging in an effort to decarbonise its manufacturing process.
Valued at approximately €18.5m, the investment includes the G furnace, the purchase of new production lines and the optimisation of parallel production processes. The installation is planned to be completed in November.
