Source3 Energy X has unveiled plans to develop the Skeena Clean Hydrogen Hub in British Columbia, capable of producing up to 50,000 tonnes of carbon-free hydrogen per annum.
The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Skeena Industrial Development Park (SIDP) for the effort, which hopes to serve the growing local and global demand for clean fuels.
Ayaz Khokhar, President and CEO of Source3X, described the news as a critical and first element of a wider clean energy cluster that the company wants to develop in the north of the Canadian province.
Source3X’s clean energy cluster in British Columbia is set to include a GW-scale clean electricity generation from wind energy to meet the province’s growing electricity demand and increase clean hydrogen production across the region.
