Italy-based SOL Group is investing in a production facility for the recovery of biogenic CO2 by alcoholic fermentation in Beglium.
Located at CropEnergies subsidiary BioWanze’s site in Wanze, once fully operational in 2021, the plant will capture annually up to 65,000 tonnes of biogenic CO2 of the highest purity from the production of renewable ethanol, available for applications in the food, health and environmental fields.
SOL Group and CropEnergies combined investment amounts to €15m.
