Netherlands-based decarbonisation technology firm Skytree plans to bring to market its newest decentralised direct air capture (DAC) unit to capture larger volumes of carbon dioxide (CO2).
Having announced the release of its Skytree Stratus model yesterday (March 11th), the company says that the unit’s fully modular nature allows for multiple units to be combined into a ‘Skytree Stratus Hub’ to meet larger volume needs.
The unit can capture up to 1.2 tonnes of CO2 per day to meet the needs of large greenhouses and vertical farms.
