Siemens Digital Industries Software has partnered with Semiwise and sureCore to develop cryogenic CMOS circuits capable of operating at temperatures near absolute zero.
Using advanced analogue/mixed-signal integrated circuits (IC) design technology from Siemens, Semiwise has developed a cryogenic SMOS circuit design featuring cryogenic SPICE models as well as SPICE simulator technology that can provide accurate analyses at cryogenic temperatures.
Semiwise is also providing its intellectual property (IP), developed using Siemens’ Analog FastSPICE (AFS), to sureCore for the development of sure Core’s revolutionary line of CryoIP that enables the design of CryoCMOS control chips.
It is hoped the effort will help advance both performance and power efficiency for next-generation integrated circuits targeting quantum computing.
