SIAD Americas has announced a new contract that will see its affiliate company, SIAD Engineering (Hangzhou), supply an air separation unit (ASU) to a Canadian firm.
To be delivered in 2025, with start-up scheduled in the spring of 2026, the 175 mTPD ASU will supply gaseous and liquid oxygen and nitrogen to a facility in the Northwest Territories, Canada.
Ed Hotard, Chairman and CEO at SIAD Americas, said the award highlights SIAD’s innovation and technical capabilities in providing ASUs to customers in the Americas with unique requirements.
The ASU will feature SIAD’s latest technology for energy efficiency. The unit will also be highly modularised to allow installation within a very short weather window at a location in the Artic Circle.
