A Company of Siad, an Italian chemical group, has won a contract from bioplus LNG, a part of Vier Gas Transport.
According to Siad, they have won a turn-key construction contract for a small scale bio-LNG project in Germany.
The project will be built near Röthenbach an der Pegnitz in the Bavarian region of Germany.
Once fully operational, the plant will produce 140 tonnes of bio-LNG per day, which is enough to fuel 350 trucks a day, effectively preventing the emission of 400,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. This is impressive, as it represents a greater savings then the entire German electric car fleet in 2020.
