SIAD Group (SIAD) has paid respects to its long-time Chairman Dr. Roberto Sestini after the company announced his passing on the morning of 6th January 2024.
Having led the Group for more than 50 years, Sestini is recognised as having guided its growth, diversification and internationalisation.
Sestini held various positions during his tenure at SIAD, including President of Unione Industriali from 1985 to 1991, President of the Bergamo Chamber of Commerce from 1992 to 2010 and Vice President of Federchimica from 1989 to 1993.
“As a man of great knowledge, he has always supported educational and scientific institutions. As a sportsman, he is remembered for his great passion for the sea, for sailing and as a motorboat champion,” said the company in a statement.
