The scene is set and safety in the spotlight as the 2012 BCGA Annual Conference today gets underway in Leeds, UK.
This year held at the luxurious country estate surroundings of Oulton Hall, the conference will showcase the significant progress made in the areas of safety and best practice by all involved at the British Compressed Gases Association (BCGA).
A number of burning issues will be under the microscope throughout the day, from diving gases and cryostorage to refrigerants and the future of the gases industry.
gasworld understands that more than 140 delegates are in attendance for the event, and BCGA Director Doug Thornton explained, “This year’s conference will, as usual, showcase progress made on the issues which face our industry and I remain grateful to the many members who do hard work on BCGA committees.”
