A survey of 2,000 major gas users has named Shell Gas Direct as the leading supplier to UK businesses, in the commercial consumer gas sector.
The bi-annual Datamonitor survey canvasses buyers who spend more than £30,000 per year on gas. Shell Gas Direct has knocked British Gas Business (BGB) off the top spot, with more of its customers intending to renew their current contracts than any other supplier.
The survey highlighted the company’s excellent standards of customer service with accessibility, flexible contracts and knowledgeable sales staff amongst its strengths.
Organisations from a range of sectors were included in the survey, including industry, manufacturing and the public sector. Each was asked how their gas suppliers fared across six core areas of customer service.
