Servomex has officially opened a brand new technical centre based in Crowborough, East Sussex, UK, further strengthening its global analysis equipment operations.
Customers, suppliers and Servomex representatives from around the world were present at an official opening ceremony, which featured the unveiling of a commemorative plaque by John O’Higgins, CEO of parent company Spectris plc.
Replacing the company’s former ageing premises, currently divided across two nearby sites, the flagship building merges Servomex’s sales and marketing, production, management and R&D facilities and staff under one roof.
Also representing a multi-million pound investment, the 51,000 square foot, two-storey facility has been designed and built to the latest environmental standards, including the use of heat exchangers to maximise heating efficiency and motion sensor lighting to reduce power wastage.
