Matheson K-Air India Private Limited [MKI] announced the commissioning of its second Indian Helium transfill at Bhiwadi, Rajasthan this March, located approximately 70km southwest of Delhi.
MKI is already one of the leading suppliers of gaseous and liquid helium to customers throughout India from its existing state-of-the-art helium distribution facility located at Chakan, Pune. The company is a joint venture between NJ-based Matheson and K-Air India Private Limited, an Indian corporation.
The new helium facility in the Delhi area is the first transfill in India’s North region and has the capability to supply liquid helium in dewars, as well as high purity gas in high pressure cylinders and tubes.
MKI managing director Kiran Karnawat said of the commissioning, “With this expansion, MKI will be the first industrial gas supplier to have two helium transfills in India. The Delhi transfill will help MKI to widen its market presence, as it will enable us to enhance our service levels by being closer to our customers.”
