Ted Schulte and Martin Wehner have been named Presidents of the North American industrial gas company, Airgas, Inc.
Ted Schulte has been named President of Airgas Refrigerants. In this new role he will report to Andrew Cichocki, Airgas Senior Vice President of Distribution Operations and Business process improvement.
Cichocki commented on the appointment, “Throughout his career at Airgas, Ted has been instrumental in helping us expand a number of strategic product lines. He began by leading our liquid carbon dioxide and dry ice business, and then led our Airgas Specialty Gases operations.”
“Ted helped expand our medical business with the Puritan Medical Products acquisition in 2000, and then in 2005 he assisted in the creation of Airgas Specialty Products, which added our platform for distributing ammonia, refrigerants and process chemicals,” continued Cichocki.
