Energy and chemicals company Sasol is currently looking for partners to help develop CO2 utilisation technologies for its South African operations.
The company said in a statement that it aims to be an enabler of such technologies and wants to partner with other companies to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions at its Secunda, Mpumalanga and Sasolburg, Free State facilities.
Sasol is now inviting interested parties to participate in a request for information process regarding the development of CO2 utilisation technologies. The scale of application for potential projects can range from demonstration level to commercial level.
In an effort to reduce improve its environmental impact, the company said it is exploring different initiatives and projects.
