Global energy company Santos has signed a long-term liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply and purchase agreement with Japan’s Hokkaido Gas.
Announced today (28th May), the agreement will see Santos supply 0.4 million tonnes per annum of LNG over a 10-year period, commencing in 2027.
The LNG will be supplied from Santos’ range of LNG assets on a delivered ex-ship basis.
Kevin Gallagher, CEO and Managing Director of Santos, said the contract is consistent with Santos’ strategy of maintaining long-term LNG pricing and demonstrates the value of the company’s LNG portfolio.
