A Russian court has ordered for approximately $1.2bn of Linde UK assets to be frozen, according to official documents.
The news follows RusKhimAlyans, the joint venture 50% owned by Russia’s Gazprom, asking the Court of Arbitration of St Petersburg and the Leningrad Region earlier this year to freeze Linde assets as a “preventative measure.”
RusKhimAlyans and Linde were due to build a gas processing complex in Ust-Luga, as part of the complex for processing ethane-containing gas processing complex (ECGC), under an agreement signed in March 2021.
