Everight Precision Technologies Corporation, the North American distributor for British sensor manufacturer Positek Ltd, now offers the Positek E111 rugged linear position sensor for use in potentially explosive dust and gas vapour atmospheres, capable of operating at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C.
The E111 is one of the extensive E Series of Positek linear and rotary position sensors that are ATEX approved and designates the sensor as being suitable for continuous, long or frequent periods of exposure to hazardous gas and dust.
The robust and intrinsically safe E111 has a 12.7mm target rod, recommended for applications where vibration is an issue or where there is a need for longer travel sensors.
As with all Positek sensors, the E111 is built and calibrated for the user’s measurement range and has virtual infinite life, is highly linear and repeatable , and maintains output stability over a wide temperature range.
