ResMed has introduced Mobi, its first branded portable oxygen (O2) concentrator (POC).
“We have focused decades of patient-centres ResMed technology and design innovation into this POC,” explained ResMed’s CEO Mick Farrell. “We’ve achieved great mobility, comfort and therapy quality in sleep apnea treatment with AirMini, the world’s smallest PAP device. Mobi offers that same great balance to the many millions of people who rely on supplemental O2 to enjoy their highest quality of life.”
Mobi will be available to US patients through their home medical equipment (HME) providers later this quarter. ResMed is pursuing clearance to sell in other countries in 2018.
