Emerging helium and LNG producer Renergen has broken ground at its flagship gas project in South Africa.
At the end of October the company said it had commissioned the project, also South Africa’s first commercial LNG and liquid helium plant.
Renergen said this was the final milestone before construction could commence on phase one of the project.
Phase one will produce around 2,700 gigajoules of LNG and 350 kilograms of liquid helium per day starting in 2021.
