Established in 1989 by the Vanderburg and Rice Families, Reliant Holdings is a privately-owned liquid carbon dioxide (CO2) and dry ice company that supplies customers throughout the US and Mexico.
The Reliant story began with the discovery of naturally occurring CO2 in geological formations under the partner’s ranch land in Eastern New Mexico. In June 1989, Reliant established FLOCO2 – initially CO2 Associates – to market the reserves, and then in an effort to diversify and withstand the boom and bust cycle of the oil and gas industry, the partners formed Reliant Gases and Reliant Dry Ice.
The company was founded on the sincere belief of pursuing win-win solutions and exceeding customer expectations, a philosophy which has resulted in the development of extremely strong customer relationships and continual growth.
