Further progress is made on Australia’s second biggest resources project, as Perth-headquartered RCR Tomlinson Ltd has secured a $60m services contract for the Pluto LNG project.
The contract award covers mechanical works and warehouse services for Woodside’s Pluto LNG project. Work is due to begin in November 2008 and continue through to December 2010.
The contract will be carried out by RCRFM Services, a 50/50 joint venture between RCR and Debin Pty Ltd trading as Freo Machinery.
Together with previously announced work and other smaller contracts, RCR’s present project order book now stands at a record $240m.
