Qatar’s RasGas is in talks with Kuwait for a five year liquefied natural gas deal.
The LNG exporter is continuing discussions with Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) to supply liquefied natural gas over five years, starting from mid 2009.
According to Reuters; Managing Director of RasGas, Hamad Rashid, said he aims to supply 1.4 million tons per year of LNG to KPC via the new contract.
Speaking to Reuters he said, “Currently we are in discussions with Kuwait for a mid-term contract. It is for summer supplies.”
