Pulsar Helium has reached total depth of 2,200 feet at its Jetstream #1 appraisal well in Minnesota, reporting helium concentrations of up to 12.4%.
Concentrations were measured by an on-site mass spectrometer.
When total depth was reached, the well was conditioned with air help the removal of residual drill fluid. The well then began to naturally flow helium-rich gas.
Initially, the helium concentration in the released gas was between 3.7% and 5.1% over a period of five hours. This increase in helium concentration is considered a minimum due to the large amount of air used in drilling, which diluted the
