President Engineering Group (PEGL) is celebrating winning the prestigious Made in Sheffield ‘SME Award’ at a ceremony held at Cutler’s Hall in Sheffield, UK on 10th April.
PEGL, parent company of Bestobell Valves, faced stiff competition from many high profile manufacturers to win the ‘highly acclaimed title’ and was also shortlisted in the Innovation Award and Exporter of the Year Awards.
PEGL demonstrated how its Bestobell and Conflow businesses had grown through innovation and because of its reputation for craftsmanship and high quality manufacture, which has led to the company generating 88% of its business internationally.
Mark Henley, Managing Director of President Engineering Group, reflected, “It is a real honour to win this award and will help us to further reinforce the position of our business on an international scale. The awards ceremony was a great night and it was fantastic to be chosen amongst so many exceptional businesses for this title.”
