Praxair Inc. has been named to Corporate Responsibility Magazine’s (CR Magazine) 100 best Corporate Citizens List for 2017. This is the fifth consecutive year Praxair has been recognised by this publication.
The 2017 100 Best Corporate Citizens List recognised Praxair for its leadership and achievements based on the company’s performance in seven categories: environment, climate change, human rights, employee relations, governance, corporate philanthropy and community support, and financial. The list ranks all companies in the Russell 1000® Index.
Last year, Praxair applications enabled customers to avoid more than twice the greenhouse gases than were emitted in all of the company’s operations and to provide safe drinking water to more than 125 million people globally. Additionally, in 2016, Praxair employees executed community engagement projects that benefited approximately 350, 000 people, or more than 13 beneficiaries for each employee.
