Linde has legally changed the name of its US welding, industrial, medical and specialty gas distribution business, Praxair Distribution Inc., to Linde Gas & Equipment Inc.
At the same time of the change in name (effective 11th October), Linde Gas North America LLC will merge into the new company.
The major industrial gas company says the change ‘capitalises on the strength of the Linde name and aligning with the One Linde philosophy adopted when Linde AG and Praxair, Inc. merged in October 2018’.
