Praxair Argentina, a subsidiary of Praxair, Inc. has announced plans to build a new plant in Argentina. The facility will incorporate state-of-the-art technology to produce oxygen, nitrogen and argon.
According to Domingos Bulus, President of Praxair South America, the investment is demonstrative of the company’s commitment to the region.
In an official corporate statement he commented, “This project demonstrates Praxair’s strong commitment to the South America region. The high reliability of supply that Praxair offers is a critical factor in meeting the growing industrial demand in Argentina.”
The new facility is expected to start-up in 2012 and will produce 400 tons per day of oxygen, nitrogen and argon.
